  • 4 cups water

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 3 medium sweet apples peeled and chopped
  • ¼ cup honey 

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a medium-sized pot. Add oats, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well. 
  2. Add apples, reduce heat, and simmer for 10-12 minutes. Stir in honey. 
  3. To finish, switch off the heat, place the cover over the dish, and allow it to sit for 5 minutes.
